Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence

Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence is one of the best anime I've ever watched. Its philosophical depth, stunning visuals, and yes, incredible music soundtrack is worth big applause. Here is one of the best scenes from the film:



The music is "The Ballade of Puppets: The Ghost Awaits in the World Beyond" (傀儡謡_新世に神集ひて) composed by Kawai Kenji (川井憲次) whose work is mainly for motion pictures, anime movies, videogames, and televised programs. The breathtaking female chorus was sung by 75 minyo (Japanese folk music) singers! Taiko drums is also very powerful.

The next video is the amazing opening scene. The song is "The Ballade of Puppets: Flowers Grieve and Fall" (傀儡謡_怨恨みて散る).
